USU Summer Piano Festival and Competition

A typical daily schedule includes music enrichment seminars, collaboration, masterclasses, concerts, and lecture demonstrations. Additionally, students will receive private lessons with piano festival faculty members.

Festival participants will get to perform in the Russell Wanlass Performance Hall, and will have a chance to hear several concerts throughout the week. In addition to evening performances, students will get to enjoy recreational activities like kayaking at beautiful First Dam.

$50 deposit due after acceptance and at time of registration with the remainder due June 10, 2020

Students will be housed in Reeder Hall, a short 2-minute walk from the music building. Rooms are double occupancy.

Resident Assistants for the festival will live in Reeder Hall as well, and will provide supervision and guidance throughout the week.

Meals will be provided through USU Dining Services.

*For local student participants who do not wish to live on-campus during the festival, a $150 meal plan is required in place of the $300 Housing & Meals fee, making the total festival fee $500.

After we have received your information, we will contact you by email (usupianofestival@gmail.com) to provide you with the materials you need to complete the application process. Once you have completed your application process, tuition will be due.

The experience of students who attend the USU Summer Piano Festival is enriched by opportunities which are only possible because of the generous support of organizations and individuals who believe in the arts and understand the value of music education.
