Emily Ezola began her education at Utah State University with a music scholarship, and studied Piano Performance under the private instruction of Professors Gary Amano and Dennis Hirst. As an undergraduate, she served as Event Coordinator for the Youth Conservatory program at Utah State University. In 2011, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance. During this time, she earned several awards including the Freshman of the Year Award (2008), Project Europe Competition (2009), Service Award (2009), and the Youth Conservatory Teacher of the Year Award (2011). In the Fall of 2011, Emily started the Utah State University Masters Program in Piano Performance and Pedagogy and continued her involvement with the Youth Conservatory by accepting the YC Office Coordinator Assistantship. During this time she was awarded the Edward McCallson Memorial Award (2012) and served as the President of the Northern Chapter of the Utah Music Teachers Association (2012-2013). She completed the Masters program with honors in 2013 and now serves on the USU piano faculty.
